Our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to the spiritual growth and development of our youth. We begin by introducing children to the Bible and to Christ Jesus, and then gradually guide them in a deeper understanding of the Gospel. For pre-teens and adolescents, we help them discover their identity in Christ and encourage them to model their lives after Him. All youth are invited to participate in a variety of ministries, including choir, dance, audio/visual, theater, ushering, or children’s church.

The Friendship Worship Center Praise Dancers are committed to the very essence of Scripture:
"Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with timbrel and harp" – Psalms 149:3 (NIV)
Composed of youth and young adults, the Praise Dancers seek to showcase their God-given gifts while ministering to the congregation and reaching the lost. Through fluid, heartfelt movements, they express a deep love and longing for Christ, aiming to bless God’s people and inspire others in worship.
Chair - Missionary Myra Champion
The Diaconate are servant-leaders dedicated to supporting the Church and assisting the Pastor in nurturing the spiritual well-being of the congregation. Deacons provide pastoral care by visiting the sick, shut-ins, nursing homes, and hospitalized members as needed. They also assist the Pastor with the preparation and administration of the Church’s ordinances and perform other servant duties as assigned.

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving..." – Psalms 100:4 (NIV)

Our Music Ministry is a joyful and powerful way to give praise and honor to God through song! We lead worship every Sunday morning and minister during special services at the request of Archbishop Edwers. Rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 5:30–7:00 PM as we grow, prepare, and worship together.
We are excited to welcome new voices! If you have a heart for worship and a desire to share your vocal gifts with the church, we would love for you to join us. If you’re interested in learning more or having a conversation, please reach out to Elder Sharon Bankhead—we can’t wait to worship with you
Chair - Elder Sharon Bankhead
